It was 50s night at kakmi's.
It was prom, revived.
It was Happy Days, relived.
It was swing skirts, polka dots, hairbands, scarfs, and suspenders alike.
It was unspoken love, spoken.
It was a night of freedom, no worries, it was merdeka eve.
It was Audrey Hepburn, Elvis, and all the other Nancys and Freds, under one roof.
It was major chaos of singing "Keranamu" in unharmonious tunes but harmonious feelings.
It was watching "Tiga Abdul" on loop.
It was songs that made you want to boogie and swing around the clock.
It was takeout pizza, mac & cheese, nachos & dip, brownies & vanilla icecream.
Whoever said the 50s were dull can bite my tootsies. xD
This new memory has registered successfully.
Thank you all, especially hosts, for a wonderful evening.

KelisaClub Bentong Convoy Trip Article

A Day Out with KelisaClub
On a clear and beautiful Saturday morning, 9 Perodua Kelisas with 14 people from KelisaClub gathered at Projet/Petronas Gombak for a convoy trip to Bentong, Pahang, which the Club President and his committees had been planning since a month before.
The designated route for the convoy was Gombak – Genting Sempah – Bentong – Bukit Tinggi – Janda Baik – Genting Sempah. The convoy was led by KelisaClub President, Alimi. After a short briefing by the President regarding convoy rules and regulations, a few sets of walkie talkies were divided between the club members. Prayers were read by a club member, Shah, and the convoy started their journey from Gombak at about 7.50 a.m.
Using the old road to Bentong, club members got to enjoy the beautiful morning scenery and also got the honor of being greeted by a bunch of monkeys, their families and friends.
The convoy arrived at Chamang Waterfalls, Bentong at around 10 a.m. This was the highlighted destination of the whole convoy trip, where club members had a great time bathing and splashing around while picnicking in the scenic greens.
From Chamang, the convoy continued to Bukit Tinggi, Janda Baik and finally Genting Sempah, just as planned. After lunch at the Genting Sempah R&R, the convoy continued home to Kuala Lumpur in one beautiful single line via expressway.
KelisaClub is an active club with a long list of activities in its annual calendar. Ranging from convoys, TTs, gatherings and also recreational and sports activities including futsal and paintball, club members need not worry about a boring and lifeless weekend. a wonderful & enjoyable night. couldn't help but notice the cute percussionist. ha-HA-ha. loved the company. loved the drumbeats throughout the musical. loved the music. loved the dancing. loved the shakespearean-like translation. loved adipati~~ ooh. love theatres to pieces. i lovlov!
